Erik Rivenes started the original Saint Paul Gangster Tours in Saint Paul, Minnesota soon after college, and over the years has become an expert in Minnesota crime history. In 2018 his book, "Dirty Doc Ames & the Scandal That Shook Minneapolis", about a corrupt doctor-turned-politician was published by the MNHS Press. Since 2015 he has hosted the popular Most Notorious! A True Crime History podcast, conducting over 300 interviews about historical crimes, tragedies and disasters.
