AJ Pasciuti is a retired U.S. Marine Force Reconnaissance leader, Purple Heart recipient, and author who led Marines through some of the most demanding combat environments of the last two decades.
Over 21 years in special operations, with multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, AJ built his leadership philosophy around one core principle: trust. Today, he brings that same credibility, discipline, and directness to Combat Story, where long-form conversations reveal what leadership under real pressure actually looks like.
AJ is the author of Darkhorse (HarperCollins Leadership, 2026), a memoir and leadership narrative examining identity, resilience, and the human side of combat.
The Combat Story audience is mission-driven and deeply loyal—comprised of veterans, active-duty service members, first responders, entrepreneurs, and high-performing professionals who value substance over noise. Under AJ’s leadership, the show has grown beyond a traditional military podcast into a platform for leadership, resilience, trust, and high-stakes decision-making.
